Course Overview
People are the most important asset for the organization hence selecting the right people for the right job is crucial. There are many different types of assessment tools which have been using to qualify the candidate’s suitability with the role. Interview is one of the popular assessment tools in selection. There are two main types of interview – Unstructured and Structured Interviews (Competency Based Interviews). Competency Based Interviews (also called structured or behavioral interviews) are more systematic, with each question targeting a specific skill or competency. Candidates are asked questions relating to their behavior in specific circumstances, which they then need to back up with concrete examples. The interviewers will then dig further into the examples by asking for specific explanations about the candidate's behavior or skills.
